A.J. Bingham is the Founder and CEO of The Bingham Group, LLC, a full service lobbying firm based in Austin, TX. A.J. has a decade of experience lobbying for clients at the municipal and state level in Texas. His practice includes government affairs, public affairs, and procurement.
A.J. holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University and J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. Raised in Austin, he is a graduate of the city’s nationally ranked public high school, the LBJ Science Academy (now Liberal Arts and Science Academy)

Emmy Alcocer-Hill is the head of Retail Deposit Products for University Federal Credit Union, Austin’s largest locally-owned financial institution, where she oversees the Credit Union’s retail deposit product development. Emmy focuses on the creation of products that empower UFCU members to succeed financially. In addition, she is an active member of several of the Cooperative’s internal committees who are charged with making UFCU one of the best places to work in Austin.

Solomon Cole serves as Vice President with AB Private Credit Investors Austin office. Vanessa Maldonado
Executive Director, AVANCE-North Texas
Vanessa Maldonado serves as the Executive Director for AVANCE-North Texas, part of a national, non-profit organization, primarily serving Texas, that meets hard-to-reach, low-income families where they are. Meaning “advance” or “progress",” AVANCE serves as a trusted guide to assist under-resourced families of young children in overcoming isolation and lack of opportunity. Most recently Vanessa was the Chief Engagement Officer for Easter Seals Central Texas. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Vanessa received her undergraduate degree from St. Edward’s University and is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School (Austin High).

Daniel Liu is a MBA career consultant at the UT McCombs School of Business where he teaches a strategic career management course and helps over 500 MBA students in their career exploration and successfully interview for careers in management consulting, high-tech product management/marketing, and startups. Previously Daniel was an IT Management Consultant with Deloitte Consulting.
Daniel received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University.

Legal Counsel at Aetna, a CVS Health Company
K.C. Barner, J.D. serves as Local Markets Counsel at Aetna, a CVS Health Company, where he provides legal guidance, interpretation, advice and recommendations for action to internal stakeholders and senior/executive management regarding federal/state laws and regulations in the healthcare industry. He also spent several years in private practice where he provided legal advice related to insurance company formations, admissions, product filings, and mergers and acquisitions to clients ranging from small start-up companies to multinational financial service providers.
